Sakura is Japanese for Cherry Blossom, in Japan they are a metaphor for life encompassed by ying and yang - symbols that indicate balance and harmony.  Our philosophy is to bring you that through professional health treatments that help to calm the mind, heal the body and amplify the spirit.

Our spacious tank is in your own float suite, this is your own private space to focus on your journey to wellness and relaxation, in here you will find

  • Shower
  • Towel
  • Ear Plugs
  • Vasaline (for freshly shaven skin as the epsom salts can sting, also good to add a protective barrier for small paper cuts!)
  • Make up remover wipes
  • Organic shower wash and shampoo
  • Gown and slippers (for combined treatments)

We have a separate vanity area away from the float suite with a mirror and hairdryer and our small but cosy relaxation room where you can enjoy your post float therapeutic fresh leaf well-being tea (choose you own blend).

If you have never floated with us before here's what to expect and how to achieve the greatest benefits from your floating experience.

 - Before you arrive
  • Avoid shaving on the day of your float as the epsom salts will sting fresh shaven skin
  • Do not drink caffeine as this might make it difficult to relax during your float
  • Try to not over hydrate yourself
  • Eating a few hours prior should be fine but floating on a full stomach can be uncomfortable
  • Please bring swimwear

 - On arrival
  • If its your first session please arrive 10 mins before so that we can answer any questions and take you through the float procedure, you will also need to fill out a short consultation form
  • If you have already floated with us we do ask if you can arrive at least 5 mins to your appointment to use the bathroom if necessary

 - Before your float
  • Take a shower and dry your face so you are not tempted to touch your face during your float as the salts can sting your eyes
  • Remove contact lenses
  • Enter the float tank via the large side door, step inside and grab onto the side rail, lie down and notice you are immediately floating on 'top' of the water due to the heavily concentrated epsom salts
  • Position yourself in the centre of the water, ensuring your legs and arms are comfortable, put your head right back to relax the neck, your head will be supported and wont sink!
  • The tank contains underwater lights ( it really is your very own blue lagoon) the light button is inside the tank, it is up to you if you leave them on or off but the recommendation is to float in darkness
  • Intro music will play automatically for 10 min before it goes silent, you can request no intro music or have the music throughout, the recommendation is to just have the intro music but many find they achieve just as deep relaxation points with the music throughout, again a personal choice, our guided meditation floats will play throughout

 - Post float
  • At the end of your session the tranquil music will be introuduced (unless you had the music throughout, in this case the music will go off) both indicate the end of the session and time for you to exit, after 5 mins the advanced filtration system will turn on to clean the water 3 times before the next client's use
  • If you floated in darkness please ensure you turn the under water lights back on, grab the side bar and stand straight, shake all the epsom salts off your body before you leave
  • Take a shower to rinse off the epsom salt solution from your body and hair, get dressed and exit the float suite to the vanity area with a large mirror, hairdryer and complimentary Neals Yards Remedies organic and vegan moisturisers

 - Feel great
  • In our small but cosy relaxation room enjoy a therapeutic fresh leaf wellbeing tea (choose your own blend) which will be freshly brewed for you or if you prefer some filtered water, reflect on your tranquil experience and leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvinated!
